About this tool
Life in Weeks shows your entire life as a single grid, where every square is one week. The idea was popularized by the essay "Your Life in Weeks" — seeing all your weeks at once turns an abstract sense of time into something you can actually look at.
Enter your birthdate and the grid fills in: the weeks you have already lived, the week you are in right now, and the weeks still ahead up to a lifespan you choose. You can download it as a high-resolution poster to print, frame, or keep as wallpaper.
Private by default. All the math runs in your browser. Your birthdate is only stored locally on your device and, if you choose to share, encoded in the link you copy. Nothing is uploaded to a server and there is nothing to sign up for.
It is meant to be reflective rather than morbid — a gentle nudge to spend your weeks on the things and people that matter to you.
